One of my favourite flying areas is Hong Kong, and in particular Kai Tak. No matter how many times I shoot that approach, there's always a bit of doubt as to whether its going to be - throttles closed...float it on... OR - gear up...full power...going around! Since I also like to fly piston airliners, I've always had to fly something foreign(foreign to to Hong Kong, that is). Maybe thats why I have so many overshoots? Now, if I could get a Cathay Pacific DC6, used to flying into Kai Tak every day, things are bound to get better!

So here it is - a Cathay Pacific DC6B. Unfortunately, although I've looked at dozens of books, I have'nt been able to find a COLOUR picture of it. so I've had to use my own judgement for some of the details. I think it's probably correct, but maybe you KNOW better. If you do, feel free to e-mail me with details. E-mail me anyway, if you like - it's nice to know where my planes are flying.

Thanks to Tom Gibson and Harry Follas who made the moving -parts DC6B which is the basis of this repainted aircraft, and for letting me do it. I still retain parts of Tom's paintwork and of course Harry's very clever metal textures which add so much to the realism. The original Western Airlines aircraft is great, and I still fly it too.
So many great aircraft..so little hard disk space!
I'd also like to thank all the other people who contribute so much to the FS community, making models, recording sounds, designing panels; all those things I'd love to be able to do, but can't.

Now read the FS98 DC-6B CLOUDMASTER Text, for all the information about this aircraft, and how to install it. Also, read that legal stuff!

Enjoy!
